Bed Frames

All our Metal Beds are available with a variety of base configurations, all of which are included within the price of the bed.

The most popular option is our ever-faithful Sprung Beech Slatted Base which features finest quality German beech slats with two inch gaps incorporated within a super sturdy metal frame, making it suitable for any mattress specification including pocket sprung versions.

Should you require a sprung beech base but do not want a bedstead with a foot end, then our Universal Frame will answer your needs.

Accordingly for those looking for a bedstead that will accept an upholstered bed base/mattress combination a Support Frame or vono frame as it is sometimes known, option can be specified.

If you already have a mattress and divan set but want to achieve the bedstead “look”, then a Surround Frame can be supplied which simply surrounds the divan base with sufficient clearance for drawers.

And finally, many of our Metal Beds are available as Headboard options with extra rigid fixing assemblies to attach to the head end of any mattress/divan combination.
